Not a Bad First Week

Starting Weight: 192.5, Goal Weight: 160, Current Weight: 187.5, Weight Lost: 5, Left to lose: 27

Thoughts for today
Well down 5 lbs from New Years Day and I'm enjoying the interaction with that comes with blogging. I feel like if I keep up with the blogging every day, I'll stay on the path to my goal. Not a bad first week.

About 30 minutes of Wii Fit. Getting pretty good at the driving range.

Chocolate and Oats Fiber One bar. 2 cups of black coffee.

Thai food at Jasmine with a friend from work. Ginger chicken with steamed rice and spring roll and a cup of soup with chicken broth and rice. Did the usual halving the portions, even the spring roll. Well I ate maybe 3/4 of the ginger chicken, but I don't think it's too bad. Glass of water.

Wouldn't you know you it a few hours after eating Thai, my wife decided she wanted to go for Japanese. I didn't mind, especially since it's one of our favorite places, Sakura. Had the Chicken and Broccoli with steamed rice and spring roll and halved the portions. Hot green tea, no sweeteners.

Drinking a Michelob Ultra Lite or two as I blog.

  1. Never really thought of halving the portions, even though I've seen that tip many many times before. I always try to order the meal with the least possible amount of calories, whether I like the meal or not. Maybe I can try ordering something that I like but only eating half. Thanks!
