I Need Some A's

Thoughts for Today
Before I started writing tonight's post, I felt it was it a pretty good day healthwise, but as I look at the written log, I realize it wasn't that great. Yeah, breakfast, lunch and dinner were pretty moderate eating, but as I look at the snacking, I realize how it all kind of adds up even though each piece doesn't seem like much. The snack portions weren't big, but I ate some of them (the ice cream and the cookies) when I wasn't hungry at all and that behavior isn't good.  Coupled with a day of no basically no exercise at all, I rate it a C.

Overall, I am at a point where I am within reach of goals I haven't been able to meet for a very long time, so I need to stop fooling around and get more dedicated and string together some days where I can truly rate the day an A. I'm tired and going to bed, good night y'all.

Exercise
None. Don't think I'll even break 7000 pedometer steps. It's not a great excuse but I'm tired today.

Breakfast
Fiber One Chocolate and Oats bar. 2 cups of black coffee.

Lunch
Takeout Chinese. Hot and soup soup with only a few crunchy noodles. Ate 1/2 the portion of chicken with garlic sauce and less than 1/2 the fried rice.

Dinner
Wife's made a great double dipped beer batter chicken. Sides of green beans and Betty Crocker mashed potaotes. As usual, portioned out in kiddie trays. I definitely could have eaten 3-4 pieces of the chicken but stuck to one.

Snacks
3-4 malted milkballs (Whoppers). Fiber One Chocolate and Oats bar. A few big handfuls of Raisin bran.  A small dish of vanilla ice cream sprinkled with jimmies. A super nice lady at work brought homeade chocolate chip cookies around and she's a great cook. I had two.

  1. Oh my goodness....double-dipped beer battered chicken...I'm salivating now as I head to the kitchen to make some bland-ass egg whites for breakfast, lol.
